Planned Medical Assistance Will Be Partially Suspended In Minsk

Due to COVID-19, planned medical care for patients with chronic cardiac diseases is suspended in Minsk. They will also temporarily stop providing planned surgical and gastroenterological care, according to the official Telegram channel of the Ministry of Health. Emergency assistance, as before, will be provided in a timely manner and in full.

- We do not stop the planned assistance to the children population. The provision of planned trauma, gynecological, ophthalmological and oncological care will also continue. In these areas, planned assistance will be provided in the order in which it was provided in hospitals or departments not used for coronavirus treatment,” said Dzmitry Charadnichenka, First Deputy Chairman of the Health Commission of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
