New Universities Join Student Strike in Belarus

All new universities join the student strike in Belarus, which began on October 26, after the expiration of the People's Ultimatum term to Lukashenka.

Students of the Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU) are holding a sit-down strike.

Students of the Minsk State Linguistic University (MSLU) went on a powerful march through the university. More students have joined the strike today than yesterday.

The Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) continues to strike today. The striking students of BSUIR enter the auditorium and call to join the strike.

Students of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts (BSAA) in Minsk went on strike and chanted: "Join us!"

Students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of BSU joined the strike. A sit-down protest is taking place in the main building.

BSUIR professors announced an indefinite strike. Assistants and other staff joined them.
