On Friday (October 23), the Belarusian Diaspora in Switzerland will hold a protest march "Sport Tribunes with Belarus" in Lausanne, where the headquarters of the IOC and other sports international federations are located, Trybuna writes with reference to insidethegames.

The march is scheduled for 16.00 local time (17.00 Minsk time), it will start at the Olympic Museum and then move to the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee.

The organizers called on sports organizations in Switzerland to support the demonstration by "sending a statement to the IOC" using the #StandWithBelarus hashtag.

The participants of the event will demand from the IOC to suspend the participation of the NOC of Belarus and the Ministry of Sport of Belarus representatives in any official events held in Switzerland or organized by Swiss organizations and sportsmen, including any online events.

"We call on the Federal Office of Sport and local sports organizations and institutions of Switzerland, sports clubs, teams, fan clubs, associations and individual athletes to condemn violence and repression against peaceful participants of Belarusian protests and any politically motivated pressure on athletes.

We would like to draw public attention to crimes against humanity, continuing gross human rights violations and repressions committed by Aliaksandr Lukashenka and his regime in Belarus, and in particular to crimes, violence and repressions directed against Belarusian sportsmen, members of sports teams and representatives of the sports industry of Belarus.

We demand from Swiss sportsmen and clubs to refuse to participate in any sport events in Belarus," - the report says.
