Regional Primary REP Trade Union Organization Created In Slonim

The independent trade union is expanding its activities in the country.

On January 25, a constitutive meeting to create a district primary trade union organization was held in Slonim, praca-by.info reports.

-The trade union group has been functioning in Slonim for more than 10 years, it has grown and stabilized, so last year the governing body of the union decided to create the primary organization, - the leader of the REP union, Hennadz Fiadynich, said.

Mikhail Sashko was unanimously elected chairman of the primary organization. Danuta Yaukhuta and Sviatlana Markach also became members of the trade union committee. The Auditing Committee was elected.

The meeting recommended Mikhail Sashko to the Republican Council (direct delegation).

It was decided to look for a legal address for the primary organization to register it with the executive and administrative authorities.

- The creation of the primary organization on the basis of a trade union group is not the first case in the REP trade union practice. I am sure that next year there will be new trade union groups, and the existing ones will expand and consolidate, - Hennadz Fiadynich concluded.
