Minsker: I Think We Should Strike

The real changes will take place only after Lukashenka's resignation.

This is what many Minsk residents say when they come to the election pickets of the civil campaign European Belarus.

- I know from experience that the elections are unfair, they are falsified, - one of the capital's residents said, signing for the candidate from European Belarus. - I was naively attending them, and sometimes I was the only one to vote at the polling station. And then they announced about 70% of those who had voted. I came to the polling station five minutes before the end of voting. But the elections were considered as successful.

Today I was pleasantly surprised that they were people collecting signatures for the oppositionists. If Lukashenka resigns, a lot will change. This is the only hope for now. For an alternative power.

We should go on strike. We must not obey. Making strikes, acts of disobedience - like the "yellow vests" in Paris did. Because nothing has changed in 25 years.
