The shell fragments were falling on the roofs of the houses.

During the exercise, held at the 227th firing range in Smaliavichy district of Minsk region on July 29th, the Belarusian military frightened the residents of the village of Rassoshnaye and won a "victory" over the fence made of metal profile, belonging to one of the villagers, blogger Nexta reports in his telegram-channel.

It was a miracle that no one was hurt.

By the way, no one was sleeping in the village during the exercises because of the noise and salvos - many people went out to see what was going on. But when shrapnel started falling, the people got scared and called the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Today, according to the local residents, military engineers were working in the village.

The military department admitted the incident with the fence, though with the caveat of "possible".

"The commission of the military department and the investigative and operational group establish the reasons for the damage to the fence on one of the land plots in Rassoshnaye, Smaliavichy district.

It has been established that on July 29th, a training exercise was held at the 227th firing range. It will be investigated whether the fence damage is related to the exercise," - the report of the Ministry of Defense says.
