Zelensky Grants Citizenship of Ukraine to Two Belarusians

Denis Prokhorov and Sergey Alekseevich received Ukrainian passports.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has granted Ukrainian citizenship to nine foreigners. The corresponding decree of 18 July was published on the website of the head of state.

Zelensky has granted Ukrainian citizenship to seven persons of state interest: Sergey Alekseevich, Denis Prokhorov, Nikita Makeyev, Andrei Kovnirenko, Sergei Gnoyev, Nugzar Kandelaki and Stanislav Gibadulin, Gordon reports.

Besides, Zelensky granted citizenship to two foreigners for outstanding merit to Ukraine: Alexei Sivokhin and Dmitry Fomin.

Ukrainski Novyny notes that Alekseevich and Prokhorov come from Belarus, Kandelaki - Georgia, Gibadulin - Moldova. The other foreigners, who, according to the presidential decree, will receive a Ukrainian passport, come from Russia.
