Lukashenka To Medvedev: As Putin Says, We Are One Nation

The dictator has announced his plans to go to Valaam with Putin.

At the meeting with Russian Prime Minister, Lukashenka talked to Dmitry Medvedev about upcoming meetings with Vladimir Putin. The Belarusian leader intends to discuss the issues of "cooperation between the two countries," kp.by reports.

Talking to Medvedev, Lukashenka reminded about the existing agreement that the Russian Prime Minister would study "problematic issues between Belarus and Russia."

- As agreed with the President of Russia, you will study the work of the joint group dealing with the problematic issues of our relations, and then give your opinion before the meeting with Vladimir, - Lukashenka explained.

- And at the forum of regions (which will be held in mid-July in St. Petersburg - ed.), we will go with him to pray in Valaam. And there we will discuss everything further," - Lukashenka shared the plan of the meeting of the rulers of the two countries.

Summing up the results of the meeting, Lukashenka stressed that he was ready to discuss with Dmitry Medvedev the issues of the Belarusian-Russian cooperation, which he would consider necessary.

- You are our dear and beloved guest. As Putin says, we are one nation. Therefore, we are glad to see you here, - Lukashenka summed up.
