The authorities do not care about the monument.

Volunteers and Young Front activists are improving the grave of Daminik Lutsevich, the father of the national poet of Belarus Yanka Kupala.

The grave is located in the village of Koran, Lahoisk district. Today, the volunteers have painted the parts of the memorial sign, and the next stage is the restoration of the slab under the sign. The money for improvement has been raised through crowdfunding.

This was announced on Facebook by youth activist Illaryjon Trusau.

The grave will be improved by June 13 – St. Anthony's Day (on this day, locals go to the cemetery to honor the memory of the dead).
