The participants of the prayer laid flowers and lit candles to the memorial stone on Calvary.

An interfaith prayer was held in Kurapaty under the leadership of Orthodox priest Adryjan Latushka, writes Novy Chas.

Priests participating in the international conference “Churches and Local Communities Facing Social Challenges”, which is currently taking place in Minsk, and several local parishioners, took part in the prayer service.

According to Adryjan Latushka, the Orthodox Church always remembers and honors the memory of the innocently killed martyrs. The priest is upset about the recent vandalism of the Belarusian authorities in the stove. Now the Orthodox Church, according to him, collects and analyzes the information on Kurapaty in order to work out a common official position.

In conclusion, the participants of the prayer laid flowers and lit candles to the memorial stone on Calvary.
