Hennadz Fiadynich: Workers' Problems Must Be Heard And Solved

  • 16.05.2019, 13:07

The REP trade union is closely monitoring the situation at MTZ.

Representatives of the administration of MTZ shop No. 91 held an emergency meeting with a team of painters. The reason was the publication on the praca-by.info website about the unhealthy situation among the company's staff.

According to the employees, instead of solving the existing problems, they were openly threatened at the meeting. The administration referred to the fact that in the summer, when the professional skills certification expires, they will have to confirm the existing grade.

The QC department representative officially stated that no comments relating to any faults of products have been made since January 2019 to the present day (the official comment, as a rule, leads to a reduction in bonuses).

As it turned out later, two members of the team, including Natallia Dziamidava, who constantly and uncompromisingly defends the interests of the team, did not receive any official comments from the QC department for painting parts with allegedly poor quality. Representatives of the technical control have drawn up a certificate of product return, which does not entail deprivation of bonuses for employees.

"We hope that such situations at the enterprise will be resolved without penalties. But the workers' problems must be heard and solved", – Hennadz Fiadynich commented on the situation:

– It is difficult to assess how the events in the team will develop further. But we want to note that only respect for the workers, reasonable exactingness to the quality of products and constructivism in the solution of problems will help to eliminate the negative processes that are now taking place at this production site. To protect the interests of trade union members, we are ready to meet with any manager, including in court. We are ready for it.
