Poland Registers Quality Deterioration of Oil Supply from Belarus

Polish PERN pipeline operator informed Polish and German refineries about the decline in oil quality.

Poland registered quality deterioration of oil supplied by Belarus through Druzhba pipeline.

Forsal reports referring to the Polish PERN pipeline operator.

The operator received a fax from Gomeltransneft, which stated an increased content of chlororganic compounds in the feedstock, and later "found it in crude oil supplied to Poland". PERN informed Polish and German refineries about the decline in oil quality.

"We monitor the situation on an ongoing basis," the operator stated.
