Belarusian Diaspora Representatives Hold Rally Near Belarusian Embassy In New York

Belarusian Americans celebrated Freedom Day.

On March 23, in honor of the Freedom Day, Belarusians in the United States held a rally at the Belarusian consulate in Manhattan, New York, Radio Svaboda reports.

The rally was organized by the Belarusian-American Association (BAZA) and the Belarusian-American Association Pahonia.

The rally participants expressed:

gratitude to the BPR government, which “preserves and puts into life the ideals of the Belarusian independent democratic state”;

solidarity with Belarusian politicians, the media, including Charter-97,

activists and citizens who fight for democracy in Belarus.
