Former Military Commissar To Manage Belarusian Football

Yury Viarheichyk withdrew his candidacy from the election for the post of head of the Football Federation of Belarus (FFB).

FFB General Secretary Yury Viarheichyk will not participate in the elections for the post of the FFB head.

March 7, the deadline for nominating candidates for the post of chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation has expired.

Besides Viarheichyk, Uladzimir Bazanau, a former military commissar, who is now a “deputy” of the “house of representatives”, applied for this post.
