European Belarus Activist Maya Naumava Detained

The detention is connected with participation in the “Freedom to Political Prisoners!” rally.

European Belarus activist Maya Naumava has just been detained in Minsk, activist Kiryl Vasileuski reports on Facebook.

She is being taken to the Tsentralny district police department.

For the second day, European Belarus activists Leanid Kulakou, Artsiom Charniak, Volha Nikalaichyk, one of the BCD leaders Pavel Seviarynets, anarchists Dzmitry Palienka and Nastsia Huseva are awaiting trial.

The police are actively looking for other participants of the “Freedom to Political Prisoners!” rally, which took place 26 in the center of Minsk on February.
