The leader of the Belarusian National Congress, Mikalai Statkevich, made an emotional speech at Independence Square.

"Dear friends, our country is under threat of annexation. When a country faces a dangerous enemy, it unites and turns into a fortress. The greatest danger is treason. But even the bigger danger is when the commandant of the fortress negotiates to surrender it for money. So the only chance to save the fortress is to hang the commandant at the city gates. For Belarus to live, we must remove the traitor, impostor and murderer from power," - the leader of the Belarusian National Congress, Mikalai Statkevich, said.
