Rally To Support Belarus' Independence Held In Hrodna

People came out with white-red-white flags to the bridge over the Nioman.

On December 15, Hrodna activists took part in a rally to support the independence of Belarus and against "deepening integration" with Russia.

The Belsat TV channel broadcast the rally live:

15:40 The organizers thank everyone who has joined the rally.

15:35 The event organizers read out the text of the resolution against the "integration" of Belarus and Russia.

15:30 The protesters head to Nioman. Interior Ministry employees only watch the rally and do not interfere with the activists. About 100 people take part in the action.

15:05 The protesters carry the national symbols and anti-integration posters, including those with quotes of Kastus Kalinouski.

15:00 There are a lot of people with white-red-white flags at the rally. The activists demand from the authorities to talk to them in Belarusian.
