Leanid Kulakou: They Stole Pensions From My Generation

The pensioners of the Ministry of the Interior, with their huge pensions, have grabbed all the money-producers.

A Meeting of Free People is held again in Minsk today, upon the initiative of the European Belarus civil campaign. Activist of the European Belarus civil campaign Leanid Kulakou made a speech at this legal action in the Freedom Square:

- Hello, everyone, my dear friends. They stole pensions from my generation. I am 60 years old, but I have no pension. There is age discrimination upon. The pensioners of the Ministry of the Interior, with their huge pensions, have grabbed all the money-producers.

I would also like to note that Alena Talstaya’s picket is held under the slogan of “No Integration with Russia”. I have no bad feelings towards Russia in general, but if there is hell on earth, it is located in the Kremlin. This is the resident evil. I am calling to struggle against the integration with the Russian Federation.”

Important to note, the first Meeting of Free People took place on November 15 in two Minsk squares at once, and gathered a thousand participants. The action was supported by independent parliamentary candidates, civil activists, and bloggers.
