Belarusians In United States Bought Building To Hang White Red-White Flag

The building in Brooklyn has been bought by Belarusians, not having their own houses yet.

Belsat visited Brooklyn, where the main office of the Belarusian-American Association is located. The Belarusians bought it in 1957.

On October 13th the organization will celebrate its 70th anniversary. It unites Belarusians from different parts of the United States and has departments in different cities.

Former chairman of the Belarusian-American Association main board Hanna Surmach said that the Belarusians had bought the building in Brooklyn without having their own houses yet. Today, this is the only place in New York, where the white-red-white flag hangs.
