Over a hundred of Brest dwellers came to the traditional Sunday protest action, a Charter97.org correspondent in Brest reports.

Apart from closing down the AKB battery plant, the protesters raised other political issues. Human rights defenders handed out leaflets with information against death penalty, to the city residents.
