This was stated by Belarusian National Congress leader Mikalai Statkevich during the campaign to collect signatures, the hramada.org website reports:

"I'll say straight: this system was invented by Lukashenka to stay in power. 70% of our industry is state-owned, and people are all on annual contracts.

This is a slave system. We need to return to labor collectives and collective agreements so that a person cannot be fired for his views without the collective's consent.

Entire Lukashenka's economic system is a large collective farm. It is very disadvantageous: there is no freedom. This criminal slave system must be abolished immediately.
