The composer managed to do the impossible - to win the lawsuit over the state television.

They forgot to mention him as the author of popular songs in the credits to the record of the concert. Khanok received BYN 500 as the compensation of moral damages and BYN 1,290 rubles to cover the legal aid costs, Belsat reports.

Eduard Khanok admits that fame and the songs, on which the repertoire of famous Belarusian artists is based, helped him to win. He advises another author to defend his rights only if there are irrefutable arguments. And always with a lawyer.

"Why am I so calm now?" Because I won the lawsuit. Only one, but it’s enough. It gave me good tonus though. The adrenaline is high!” the composer says.
