Belarusians Record Video Supporting Oleg Sentsov

The marathon of solidarity with the Ukrainian director continues.

The European Film Academy announced August 14 the Day of Oleg Sentsov and called for joining efforts to save his life.

On August 15, a video, where actor and musician Iliya Charapko-Samakhvalau and culturologist and film critic Maksim Zhbankou read Oleg Sentsov’s autobiographical prose, was posted on Youtube, kyky writes.

As part of the #SaveOlegSentsov campaign, Iliya Charapko-Samakhvalau reads an excerpt from the story "Childhood," and Maksim Zhbankou – from the story "Testament." Meanwhile, Setsov has been on hunger strike in the colony for 93 days. According to human rights activist Zoya Svetava, who visited the director on August 14, he has lost 17 kilograms, but does not choose to surrender.
