No one bothered to climb down into the sewerage well.

On July 13, the newly renovated streets of Revaliutsyjnaya and Kamsamolskaya were flooded in Minsk. Their reconstruction cost the city budget about 2.3 million rubles, but the sewerage, capable of withstanding heavy rain, was never built there, Euroradio reports.

On Monday, a dozen of Remautador officials and workers gathered near the rusty manholes. They were walking from one manhole to another, discussing what to do to make the sewerage work.

Euroradio walked with them for a while. The most common word that the officials were repeating was: "Soon." But no one bothered to climb down into the sewerage well.
