"Pensions Are To Be Raised!"

  • 20.06.2018, 7:34

Minskers have shot down the pension "reform" of the government.

The government is thinking about raising the retirement age in Belarus once again: the state predicts a shortage of money for social payments. By 2022, men will retire at 63, women – at 58. In the future, the authorities want to remove this difference and establish single retirement age – 63 years.

Tut.by journalists asked Minskers what they think about the new pension reform.

"There simply will not be any pensioners"

"Raising the retirement age is not a panacea for the state"

"They must raise pensions!"

"We will not last to reach retirement age"

"We must open young people the way and yield jobs," – Minskers answered.
