Minskers: What Can You Buy For Belarusian Ruble?

The gold and foreign exchange reserves of Belarus are a fake.

Some media reported "good news" from the financial front. At least, at first glance: the gold and foreign exchange reserves increased by more than $ 40 million in April. The gold reserve is a safety cushion, but can we feel safe?

Belsat asked passers-by in Minsk streets:

"I do not trust it at all. What can you buy for the Belarusian ruble?"

"I quite doubt the stability of the ruble"

"I doubt that the ruble can be helped in any way," – people answered.

Specialists also note that most of the reserves will go to pay off Belarus' huge external debt.
