Siarhei Rumas On Wood Processing Industry: That’s Some Sort Of A Zoo

All nine modernized woodworking plants in 2017 suffered losses.

Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Development Siarhei Rumas commented on the modernization of the wood processing industry, on which hundreds of millions of euros were spent, but it turned into chronic losses and excessive payments for loans, tut.by reports:

- Today every woodworking enterprise is a normally functioning industrial enterprise, which timely fullfills all its obligations. None of the enterprises today has debts on loans to any commercial bank. And today, commercial banks are competing for servicing woodworking enterprises, " - the banker said.

At the same time, Rumas admitted, the situation at different enterprises is uneven:

- That’s some sort of a zoo. Unfortunately. There are good enterprises, such as Mostovdrev and Rechitsadrev. These are two unconditional leaders.
