It Was Demanded To Unblock Charter-97 At Minsk Rallies

Today, two events dedicated to May Day were held in Minsk. At one of them, organized by official trade unions, five activists, who were holding national flags, were detained, the press service of the Belarusian National Congress reports.

One of them had a poster with a demand to stop repression against the media.

Activists of the European Belarus civil campaign took part in the rally at the Kiev square. They came with the banner "Freedom To Charter-97".

We remind that on January 24, Lukashenka's regime blocked the independent information resource Charter97.org. The blocking was confirmed by the First Deputy Minister of Information Ihar Lutski. The Ministry of Information is headed by Aliaksandr Karliukevich.
