The head of the Homel regional executive committee has been missing for a week by now.

Strong News has learnt that head of the Homel regional executive committee Aliaksandr Sitnitsa has not appeared at his workplace since last week under unknown reasons, and no one has managed to find him yet. One of the top regional officials simply got missing.

Apparently, the executive committee's staff are now in uncertainty. All attempts to receive an official comment were unsuccessful: the telephones of the chairman, the receptionist and all the deputies are silent. According to our information, Aliaksandr Sitnitsa, most likely, not only does not appear at work. It seems that he is not in the city.

Where did one of the regional top officials disappear?

Strong News managed to find out that at the beginning of last week, security agencies began checking for possible corrupt activities with regard to the chairman of the Homel regional executive committee. No criminal cases have yet been instituted - it's only a check. However, almost immediately after the beginning thereof, Aliaksandr Sitnitsa ceased to appear at work and get in touch with anyone.
