Baranavichy Residents Are Planning For Picket

Picket participants want to express their disagreement with the further orientation of the country's policy on impoverishment of the people.

Baranavichy sole trader Mikalai Charnavus has filed an application in the city executive committee to hold a picket at Lenin Square from 12.00 to 15.00 on March 28, Radio Racyja informs.

Town residents, among which are sole traders, owners of minibuses and drivers, will take part in the picket.

Picket participants want to express their disagreement with the further orientation of the country's policy on impoverishment of the people, Mikalai Charnavus says:

– People are getting poorer. Sole traders are not able to pay rent, taxes and deductions to the pension fund. This is a very large amount. It turns out that sole traders go into the red.

According to Charnavus, slogans with the following inscriptions will be used at the picket: "Flogged To Death With Prices – How To Survive?", "Reduce Your Appetite And Pay At Least 400 Rubles Each." Also signatures in support of route taxis are being collected in Baranavichy.
