Historian: Founding Fathers Of BPR Performed A Real Deed

Belarusian politicians challenged their time.

The historian Pavel Tserashkovich spoke on the air of Belsat TV channel and analyzed the national movements in the Russian Empire a hundred years ago and compared the desire for the independence and the potential of the Belarusians with their neighbors.

The economy, education, the national language in the houses – "everything was against" independence, but the BPR arose, the scientist claims. "What those people performed was a real deed," – the historian believes.
