Belarus Ranked 128th Out Of 162 Countries In Human Freedom Index

The most free are New Zealand, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Austria and Canada.

This is stated in the report of the research centers – the Cato Institute and the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit – published on Human Rights Day.

Among the neighboring countries, Latvia is on the 20th place, Poland – on the 39th, Ukraine – on the 118th, and Russia – on the 120th, the Telegraph writes.

The most free countries are New Zealand, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Austria and Canada, the most unfree – Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Venezuela. Syria closes the rating.

The indicators of personal and economic freedom in the areas of compliance with law, safety and security, traffic, religion, associations and meetings, information dissemination, labor and business, and others have been taken into account.
