Honoured Artist Of Belarus Ihar Luchanok Had Stroke

The famous composer is in hospital in a serious condition.

On November 2, Ihar Luchanok was placed to the City Clinical Emergency Hospital of Minsk. 80-year-old composer is in the department of neurology, writes kp.by.

- Dad had a stroke, he is in serious condition. But we hope for the best - now we are going to the hospital with our mother,” Andrei, the son of the Honoured Artist, told Komsomolskaya Pravda.

Belarusian composer, Honoured Artist of the USSR and Belarus Ihar Luchanok wrote many hits that remain popular after decades: “Alesya”, “Cranes fly to Palesse”, “Veronika”, “Verasy”, “My Dear Homeland” and others.
