Kabiakou's Place Of Work Revealed

The former prime minister became an “independent director.”

It became known where former Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kabiakou works. On November 9, he was elected to the Belgazprombank's board of directors “as an independent director.”

According to the Belgazprombank's press service, a month before this Kabiakou “was evaluated by a special commission of the National Bank for compliance with qualification requirements and compliance with business reputation requirements.”

It was just in early October that unofficial information appeared that the ex-prime minister would become a banker.

November 21, Andrei Kabiakou turns 58 years old. He headed the government from December 27, 2014 until August 18, 2018. As prime minister, Kabiakou was replaced by Siarhei Rumas. If the former did not work in the banking sector, the latter headed the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
