Zhodzina City Executive Committee Chairman Detained

Yury Shary is suspected of corruption.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Zhodzina City Executive Committee Chairman, suggesting possible corruption, following the materials of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the agency reports.

The suspect is detained, investigators are working with him. The issue of applying a preventive measure to the official is being considered.

The investigators, together with the staff of the Department for Organized Crime Control are conducting a complex of operational-investigative and other procedural actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime committed.
