European Belarus Activist Andrei Sharenda Arrested In Brest

The activist was detained near the entrance of his house.

Brest leader of the Belarusian National Congress, European Belarus activist Andrei Sharenda was detained at the entrance of his house after meeting Mikalai Statkevich from the temporary detention facility, the Basta telegram channel reports.

He was taken to the Leninski district police department. Policemen Vakula and Liauchuk detained him. They had been on duty at Andrei’s house since the morning.
