Minsker: Rise In Price Of Utility Service Has Something To Do With Politics

  • 19.01.2018, 10:52

Capital residents associate the rise in price of housing and communal services with the growth of public debt.

Prices for housing and communal services in the capital have grown – this is a well-known fact. Belsat journalists have asked Minsk citizens to what extent this fact can be justified by objective reasons, and to what extent – by inefficiency and corruption.

"The public debt is growing, the state has to pay it off. And where does it take money from? So, taxes are growing, everything grows except salaries," – a capital resident says.

Another one notes:

"The prices for products have stayed the same, only the cost of utility services has changed. I think that it has something to do with political issues."
