There’s no political background in the termination of the diplomat’s mission.

Poland's Ambassador Konrad Pawlik will terminate his mission in Belarus at his own plea. Head of the press-center of Poland’s MFA Artur Lempart told PAP about this. He added that the decision was made by former Minister Witold Waszczykowski at the request of Pawlik himself.

There’s no political background in the termination of the diplomat’s mission, Lempart said.

Pawlik was the ambassador in Minsk since 2016. In 2014-2015, he was responsible for the eastern and polonium policy in the Foreign Ministry.

It is reported that Pawlik will complete his mission on January 31.
