Belarusians Of New York Took Part In Protest Meeting Against Putin

The rally was organized by representatives of the Russian diaspora in the US.

On September 24, a meeting to protest against Putin’s aggressive regime was held in front of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in New York, Novy Chas writes.

The event was timed to coincide with the Day of Peace on September 21, declared by the United Nations as the day of the global ceasefire and non-violence.

The rally was organized by representatives of the Russian diaspora in America, supported by activists from the Belarusian and Ukrainian diasporas, who came with their posters and flags.

Accusations against aggressive Putin’s policy towards neighboring countries: Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, as well as towards his own people, were voiced at the rally.

The participants chanted: "Putin Is A Killer!", "Stop Putin – Stop Aggression!" "Crimea Is Ukraine!", "Putin Get Out Of Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus!"
