Lukashenka Declares That He Makes Hockey Team Uniform Himself

The dictator gave a task to manufacture hockey equipment in Belarus.

Lukashenka and Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Zharko discussed the production of hockey equipment, Belsat reported.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka said on the air of the state television channel ONT that Belarus needs to produce its own sports equipment and sportswear:

"It is not good when the head of the country, together with designers, makes uniform for the team."

Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Zharko said in his interview to ONT that the government had been already given the task from Aliaksandr Lukashenka, which "is to be resolved this year":

"Equipment for children's and youth sports schools is to be home-made. We have already worked through this issue, we have enterprises that will produce uniform, protection, helmets and skates."
