Lukashenka Fired Deputy Minister For Armaments After Arms Exhibition

The dictator appointed a new deputy defense minister of Belarus.

Siarhei Simanenka has become Chief of the Armed Forces, the Belarusian ruler’s press service informs.

Ihar Latsiankou, who previously held this position, was released from duty in the reserve according to age. He reserved the right to wear military uniforms and insignia.

The press service also reported that on Monday Lukashenka issued a decree appointing Andrei Fedzin head of the main department for planning and coordination of technical support – the first deputy chief of armament of the Armed Forces of Belarus.
