World Bank: Belarus Is Not To Get Out Of Recession In 2017

The support of the Russian Federation will have only a temporary impact on the situation.

Structural shortcomings and squeezing of domestic demand may cause a decline in the Belarusian economy this year. This was stated by economist of the Belarusian office of the World Bank Kiryl Haiduk at a briefing in Minsk, tut.by writes.

The GDP of Belarus may decrease by 0.4% in 2017. Kiryl Haiduk explaines it by the existing structural shortcomings and the contraction of domestic demand.

The financial support of the Russian government will have only a temporary impact on the solution of internal and external disbalances.
