Protests to Continue on 1 and 9 May, Mikalai Statkevich Says

One of the leaders of the Belarusian National Congress Mikalai Statkevich calls to continue protests on May 1 and May 9 in Minsk.

“We will look for other ways of protest to make activity of the authorities to turn out badly. We will join official events, Ma1, May 9. These are our days and we can the right to lay flowers.

On May 1 we can come together, for example, to The Oktyabrskaya Square. And on May 9 we will join veterans, lay flowers with hope for freedom of Belarus,” Mikalai Statkevich stated to Radio Svaboda after his release from the KGB remand prison.
