Babruisk Dwellers: ‘Lukashenka, Go Away! There’s No Room For Young Among The People!’

Over 1000 people came out to the protest actions in Babruisk.

The website Charter97.org is covering the event live. The people’s outrage reached its culmination, the participants of the action are chanting: “Freedom!” and “Lukashenka, Go Away!”

Let us quote several protesters:

“The people have nothing to eat. We save on everything. Lukashenka is an imposter and usurper.”

“Only abolition of the decree and basta!”

“He must cut the number of ministries by 11 and committees by 6. What are so many officials engaged in? He must cut his personnel, not us.”

“He must leave and stop messing with people’s heads. It’s total helter-skelter”.

“The people are not reckoned as people”.

“Unemployed people get paid everywhere abroad, and we here have to pay ourselves. How is it possible to survive???”

“It wasn’t so hard even in post-war years!”

“They will take away our pensions soon!”

“Ukraine held Maidan and they live better now! Our lives are harder, without the war!”

“Lukashenka, go away! There’s no room for you among the people any more!”
