Free Theatre’s Show Receives Prestigious Award In Great Britain

The show “Doors on Fire” has been honoured by the British National theatrical award Offie’2017.

The theatre won the British National theatrical award Offie’2017 in the nomination "Best Ensemble".

The theatre manager Mikalai Khalezin has informed this at his Facebook page. This award is notable also because this is the first time in the 7-year history of its existence when the prize was awarded to the collective, representing not only Great Britain, but also Belarus.

“We remain the only theatrical collective, the main base of which is located outside Great Britain, to receive this award. This is also the only show in English. Apparently, this nomination most clearly reflects the essence of our theatre,” — Mikalai Khalezin has written.
