Belarus Increased Export Duties On Oil And Oil Products

The previous increase happened exactly a month ago.

From 1 March, 2017, Belarus raises export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Community. The relevant decision is contained in the Council of Ministers resolution № 160, dated February 25, 2017.

The rate of export duty on crude oil will be increased from $ 89.5 to $ 91.0 per 1 ton. The duty on straight-run gasoline will be increased from $ 49.2 to $ 50.0 per 1 ton, on commercial gasoline – from $ 26.8 to $ 27.3 per 1 ton.

The duty on light, medium distillates will be $ 27.3 per 1 ton (it was $ 26.8). The same duty is set in respect of diesel, benzene, toluene, xylenes, and other lubricating oils.

Last time the rates of export customs duties on crude oil and certain categories of goods produced from oil were changed on February 1. Then they were raised as well.
