Almost Half of Belarusians Paper Webcams

The authorities do not trust Internet safety.

According to survey conducted in December, 2016, 48% of Internet users from Belarus paper webcams fearing of hacking devices. Owners of integrated and external cameras took park in the survey. They chose an appropriate answer to "Do you afraid of webcam hacking?", onliner.by writes.

24% of respondents of ESET antivirus company recognize that webcam hacking is real. Nevertheless, they do not worry about it. They chose "Antivirus will protect me". 18% of Belarusians fear for webcams, because they have no doubt in skills of hackers, 10% of respondents clearly underestimate the threat.

6% of respondents answered "No, I'm not a celebrity", and 10% are convinced that remote camera hacking is just fiction.
