Shunevich: Policemen Look Untidy, With Inappropriate Face Expressions

The Minister is disappointed with the appearance of his subordinates.

The Belarusian Minister of the Interior Ihar Shunevich has said this, answering the question of BELTA’s correspondent.

— Are you satisfied with the appearance of the police officers? Does it meet the modern requirements? Are any changes in the police uniform planned?

— We have already changed the uniform. The uniform is good, wearable, adapted, and modern, I believe. It passed all the test wears, including in the extreme conditions. No changes of the uniform are planned in the near future. As for the appearance of the police officers, I can tell you I am highly disappointed with it. In any case, I would want to see fit, sportive, tidy policemen in our streets, with appropriate uniform, haircuts, poise, and face expressions.
