The batch of beef with dangerous microorganisms was produced at the meat processing plant "Ostrozhanski - K"

In laboratory studies of the batch of meat produced at the processing plant "Ostrozhanski - K", there was found listeria. The meat arrived through the Russian-Belarusian border crossing point in the Pskov region. According to interfax.by, it had a veterinary certificate of the Customs Union.

The weight of the batch was 18.3 tons.

Currently, measures are being taken to stop the distribution of the dangerous batch, Rosselkhoznadzor informs.

As charter97.org website has earlier informed, from 6 February, Rosselkhoznadzor banned shipments of beef and beef by-products from Minsk region because it was possible that meat from Ukraine could come to Russia through Belarusian enterprises.

Rosselkhoznadzor's activity displeased Lukashenka, who in early February demanded the investigating authorities of Belarus to initiate a criminal proceedings against the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert "for causing damage to the state."

As Rosselkhoznadzor stated, all claims about the Belarusian products "are based on significant facts, which are based either on laboratory tests or on specific cases of detection of illegal products or products that do not meet veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Russian Federation. "
