Minsk City Executive Committee’s Head Shorats Gives Two Days To Remove Snow In Minsk

The official has criticized the district administrations for the poor quality of snow cleaning.

Chairman of Minsk city executive committee Andrei Shorats demanded to ensure snow removal in Minsk within the coming two days. He has given a corresponding task during an operative session in mayor’s office today, BelTA writes.

Andrei Shorats has criticized the district administrations and the authorized services for having neglected the issue of snow clearance in the Belarusian capital.

“We have two days to remove the snow. All the concerned services have enough opportunities and resources to do that. We only need to make people work and not to be afraid to subject them to responsibility when necessary. There should be no tumbles of snow in the city,” — Chairman of Minsk city executive committee has demanded.

We remind, there was a great snowfall in Minsk this Saturday, on January 14. Within a day, the increase of the snow cover in the capital made 10 cm (16 to 20 cm).
